Vanderbilt has waited a

long time for this win.

It is a private school in

a conference of big public

colleges and does not go

to many bown games.

Vanderbilt won a bowl game for the first time in 53 years as Bryant Hahnfeldt kicked a 45-yard field goal with 3 minutes 26 seconds left Wednesday for a 16-14 victory over Boston College in the Music City Bowl in Nashville.
