Week 17 NFL Picks and Predictions 2010
Week 17 of the 2010 NFL Season is Here. Here are Some Week 16 NFL Picks (for entertainment purposes only). Lines given may change. Home teams are in ALL CAPS.
Here are updated NFL Week 17 odds
KANSAS CITY -3.5 over Oakland
The Chiefs have the division wrapped up, but they're likely not going to phone it in against their arch-rivals. Also Jamaal Charles will be looking to his already impressive numbers.
NEW ENGLAND-3.5 over Miami
The Dolphins have nothing on the line, but they're not playing at home, which is a boon for them. While the Dolphins will be tough on the road, Belichick isn't going to let up so go with Brady and the Pats.
INDIANAPOLIS -9.5 over Tennessee
Peyton's at home and a playoff spot is on the line. Yeah, the Colts aren't as scary as they used to be, but they should be able to handle a Titans team that got manhandled in KC in Week 16.
Jacksonville -1 over HOUSTON
David Garrard appears to be out as is Maurice Jones-Drew. The Texans have found ways to lose all year. Maybe that's why many Texans fans will attend the Fire Gary Kubiak Rally before the game.
Pittsburgh -5.5 over CLEVELAND
Peyton Hillis seems to be slowing down a bit and the Steelers are still a force to be reckoned with.
Cincinnati over BALTIMORE -9.5
Carson Palmer seems rejuvenated but the Ravens can still play for a higher seeding. Don't think the Ravens will lay an egg like the Chargers did last week.
DETROIT -3.5 over Minnesota
The Lions have covered for several weeks in a row. So what if Joe Webb is the future. The Lions should find a way to win now.
WASHINGTON over NY Giants -4
Here are words you'd thought you'd never hear: Rex Grossman is on fire. He's won two games in a row and the Giants have suffered two soul-crushing losses. Plus it looks like Hakeem Nicks is out.
GREEN BAY -10 over Chicago
Chicago says they're going to try against the Packers, so give them a chance so they may not get blown out. The Packers do have something to play for.
Dallas over PHILADELPHIA -7
A whole depends on the health of Michael Vick. Right now, it looks like he doesn't play. They also might rest players like LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson.
NY JETS -1.5 over Buffalo
The Jets are reeling and losing to the Bills is no way to end the season. They will likely consider this something of a statement game.
ATLANTA -14.5 over Carolina
The Panthers are already winning the Andrew Luck sweepstakes and have nothing to play for. The Falcons will try to bounce back and should come out with a win.
Tampa Bay over NEW ORLEANS -7.5
The Bucs have been tough all year and might challenge the Saints. Josh Freeman, LaGarrette Blount and Kellen Winslow look like they have a good things going.
St. Louis -3 over SEATTLE
The big game of the week. Win and you're in. The Seahawks play better at home thanks to the fans at Safeco Field, but St. Louis has the better quarterback. Go with the Rams.
Arizona over SAN FRANCISCO -6.5
So San Francisco melts down and loses a critical game in St. Louis and they're favorites over the Cards. Oddsmakers must really think that Mike Singletary is a bad coach. The Cards seem to be doing job at generating turnovers and whichever Smith is at QB (it looks like Alex) could give up a few critical interceptions.
DENVER over San Diego -3.5
Has the Tim Tebow era begun in Denver? It sure seems so. The Chargers imploded last week and may just fall victim to Tebow-mania in the Mile High City.
