this was sick, i thought he was dead for a second. I'm really surprised he didn't have to be removed from the field on a stretcher. I was really surprised he was up and walking around on the sidelines. I feel bad for him and hope he can finish the season with the same stellar play he was showing us. Keep me posted

That hit was AWESOME!!! I'm glad the Steelers are showing signs of life heading toward the Super Bowl. I find it funny that Pat fans are screaming it's not a legal hit...wasn't that bum Rodney Harrison one of the DIRTIEST players EVER??? Good hit Clark...Rub some dirt on it you panzy ass Welker.

It's about time. Been waiting for this on Welker for a year now.

i am a pats fan but that was absolute bullshit...when showing replays of that hit during the game, right after it happened there where 4 replays of the hit with three different camera views with one of those cameras being the onfield camera and right behind clark/welker...the ball was never tipped, the ball wanst even near welker and the onfield camera showed that but clark seen that but went out and left his feet anyways...that hit was intent to injur. If welker had the ball and clark laid him out like that that would absolutely have been a GREAT LEAGAL hit because it would have been during the field of play with the ball in his possesion. That onfield camera showed that clark seen he didnt have the ball and was trying to cheap hit on him and he did...i hope the best for welker and that he returns next week...as for clark and all the people saying hes going to get fined for a legal hit FUCK YOU if you think thats legal and reading other interviews, its pure ignorance of clark to say the he apologized to faulk like he had hit him or something and this will not go over with the pats...it could be 10yrs from now but someone on the pats will pop someone just like clark whether its legal or not

Quit cryin over the loss..... They are gunnin for the Steelers on hits all year...

The ball absolutely WAS TIPPED. If not tipped it hits Welker in the chest, followed by Clarks shoulder hitting Welker in the head.......before he has time to do his typical sliding on the turf for yards after catch(such behavior would not be tolerated in Pittsburgh). Clark never saw the ball tipped, but merely was trying to time his hit to break up the pass. It was not helmet to helmet, just football. I hope Belidick was taping that one secretly as well! It's too bad that neither of our starting safeties weren't playing last year as it certainly would have changed the outcome of that one, too.

you probably just started being a pats fan because they won a super bowl and really you are a pansy ass nerd who really doesnt know shit about football so FUCK you and keep your nerdy ass out of football conversations and i guarantee that no girly patriot player is going to ever mess with a steeler player because pittsburgh people&players take NO shit from anyone!

fukkthe steelers is an idiot! Anyone in there right mind could see the ball was tip, the ref confirmed it. Troy tipped it! People like you are the reason why this league is turning into a bunch of punks. I wonder, if it was Ward would Hocules make the same call? I don't think so! Stop crying you bitch ass Pats fan!

its a dirty hit because the ball is nowhere near welker. hes running in the opposite direction and the ball is behind him
the steelers player was like 2 feet in the air when he was hitting welker. of course it was a dirty play
yeah the hit was clean you idiots, but you can hit him for no reason. it wasnt helmet to helmet or anything, but you can drill a defenseless player. the ball is nowhere near welker and the steelers dude hits him as hard as he can, as seen by him being off his feet. its not like hes trying to knock a ball loose or anything. the ball is behind welker and hes running in the other direction. there was no reason t hit him as hard as that
the penalty was unnecessary roughness which was true. way too big of a hit for that situation. there was no reason to go all out on that hit

That hit was legal, the ball was by Welker. I am a Patts fan and my favorate player is Welker but I still think its a legal hit... However, Clark is a douch bag for make the hit. It is a penilty or roughing since is was completely unncessary. Welker had already stopped and Clark had enough time to lay off. Instead he lays out like a friggen ass and nails Welker. Its not a cheep hit, its just dirty... the Steelers are dirty and they always have been. I'm sure Welker feels the same way, hes a BAMF so im sure we'll see him next weekend.

Steelers fan. The ball was tipped and after the ball is tipped, hits are legal. Clark didn't lead with the helmet nor did he hit Welker in the head. However, it was unnecessary... and that is what the ref called... unnecessary roughness.

How many times have we seen Rodney Harrison make these types of hits? I never heard the Patriot fans complaining then.
The Patriots and their fans expect everyone to just step aside and let them do as they wish, and talk about how great they are afterward.
The Patriots turned into a classless bunch of punks after their second super bowl. And now that they aren't having their way, and are getting a dose of their own medicine, the Pats and their fans are screaming "no fair".
There is a reason it's considered dangerous to go across the middle of the field after a pass in the NFL. If football is too rough for the Patsies, maybe they should play Hellow Kitty board games.

GO STEELERS! FUCK THE PANSY ASS PATRIOTS!!

The hit occurred after the play was over and the ball was clearly not in Welker's territory. Clark was running toward the ball, the play before him in direct sight and he still hit Welker when the receiver was clearly slowing down after the play. Clark left his feet and the came damn close to a helmet to helmet hit. Clark should be fined and suspended.
