As you've no doubt heard, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker injured his knee during the Pats Week 17 matchup against the Houston Texans. After taking countless hard hits throughout the season, the Wes Welker injury occurred as the receiver tried to make a cut after making the first catch of the game.

, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that Welker has suffered a torn MCL and ACL.





Filed to ESPN: Initial tests showed Patriots WR Wes Welker tore his ACL and MCL. He'll undergo more tests tomorrow to confirm.
