University of Kansas basketball player Tyshawn Taylor dislocated after getting into a fight with KU football players. It turns out the Tyshawn Taylor KU brawl Tuesday night was just one of series of incidents between the KU basketball and football team.

Rumors have swirled for weeks around the University of Kansas about a feud between the two teams. So what is the cause of the Tyshawn Taylor KU brawl? Surprise, surprise--it looks like it was all about a girl.

Tuesday’s fight — not the first pitting basketball players against football players — happened shortly after 6:30 p.m. in front of Burge Union and reportedly involved a dispute over a woman who used to date an athlete from one team and now dates one from another. Instead of letting lovers be lovers, fighters had to prove they’re fighters. How pathetic. Time to grow up and join the real world.

There have also been reports of e-mail circulating among KU fans stating that one of the athletes at the center of the feud is wide receiver Dezmon Briscoe.

Right now, it looks like the KU feud isn't going to die down soon. The day after the Tyshawn Taylor fight, members of the Kansas basketball and football teams got into yet another brawl.
