The International Boxing Federation authorized José Luis Varela to fight against Raúl "Rayito" García for the world title again on December 13 in Loreto Baja California Sur.

La Federación Internacional de Boxeo autorizó que el venezolano José Luis Varela dispute nuevamente el título paja al mexicano Raúl "Rayito" García, el próximo 13 de diciembre en Loreto, Baja California Sur.

La pelea se realizará a 12 asaltos en la ciudad de La Paz en Baja California, México, donde el merideño espera lograr su consagración definitiva, tras caer anteriormente contra el titular de la OMB, Iván Calderón, y el rey de la AMB, Yutaka Niida.

As I have said before this is a small city, so things can not go unnoticed, this afternoon as I went shopping to the only "Big Mall" we have here. They were promoting the fight there and I had a chance to shake hands and talk to Jose Luis Varela from Venezuela and exchanged e-mails because I didn't have my camera or cell phone with me, I had just gotten off work and was on my way home to fix lunch. Somebody kindly took a picture of me with Jose Luis Varela, Olimpic winner from Venezuela, I hope I get it somehow soon.
