Wrestlemania 27 took place in Atlanta, Georgia on April 3, 2011. The largest event in wrestling was a massive spectacle, featuring the biggest names in the WWE, including old-timers like the Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels.
Some were disappointed by Wrestlemania 2011, saying that many matches didn't live up to the hype.
Here are Wrestlemania 2011 results:
Edge beat Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship over .
Cody Rhodes beat Rey Mysterio.
The Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella & Kofi Kingston beat The Corre.
Randy Orton pinned CM Punk.
Michael Cole beat Jerry “The King” Lawler by disqualification.
Undertaker beat Triple H in a No Holds Barred match.
Snooki, Trish Stratus & John Morrison beat LayCool & Dolph Ziggler.
The Miz beat John Cena in a WWE Title match.

Wrestlemania was very dissappointing especially the last match. What happened at the end was stupid.

it was a disgrace, one of the worstTaker could have ended the streak at least in a very honorable way, but they still kept on even though HHH was clearly dominating the match and was buying some time shouting "stay down!!!" and HHH was close to breaking his character to help Taker, (i mean we can see the reason why)Heavyweight championship in the first match what the heck?!! They didn't even respected what the title stood for, heavyweight championships should be on the main card and that's where it belongs.anyway crappy wrestlemania, the Rock is overrated lousy host. Stone Cold could have been better

I think that the rock and stone cold steve austin were the only highlights to this years wrestlemania i thought it got off with a great with the rock electrifying everyone but i thought all the matches were a little slow and the crowd didn't really except for the hhh and taker match were i was suprised to see taker win especially with a submission move. i thought stone cold steve austin did a great job officating and really got the crowd going with a traditional stone cold celebration and the fact that him and the rock had moment backstage was awesome. However in every single wrestlemania there has been atleast wrestler who was over with the crowd but this year the miz and cena got booed out of the place with is fine for miz as he is a heel but for cena it was disastrous especially after his massive entrance it was only down to the rock that ending was saved. its about time vince realised that nobody likes cena he isnever going to be remembered as one of greats such as stone cold steve austin and the rock

As a matter of fact 2011 wrestlemania can't be compared to that of 2010. this wrestlemania is full of drama and child's play....what is Michael Cole doing acting or dancing sasah or what? also disappointed when taker won the match by submission, nevertheless great job Triple H, man u dominate the match and u prove to the whole wrestlemania universe that u can beat the undertaker.

Worst Wrestlemania I have seen. I have PPV'd the past 8 Wrestlemanias and this one was lame as hell. If this is the best they can do, then WWE is in trouble. Get some new blood or at least some new ideas. For God's sake....CM Punk is still mad about being punted in the head 2 years ago...who came up with this lame storyline. I love the Miz, but he is not ready to headline WWE's biggest show of the year. Snooki kicks Michelle McCool's butt???....really??.....really??? Pure crap!!!

Wrestlemania was a joke! We really paid for this! Snooky and her backflip was the high light of the show. Really. The kings match was a joke. The undertakers submission hold was not properly done..... Triple H should have ended his streak. Lets stop the soap opera and get back to wrestling! Dont do it for the ratings do it for the fans. I have not watched wrestling since this match!!!! and I don't plan on watching it in the future. TNA just got bigger.

Personally I felt this year's Wrestlemania was completely overrated. There was no ladder matches. How is it that a couple years ago we had the best show ever with Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy and Kofi jumped off one of the tallest ladders in the history of Wrestlemania and then this year we end up with crappy matches? I mean Triple H getting beat by a submission hold? Seriously? I knew the show was doomed from the start, when we were supposed to see a title match between Sheamus and Daniel Bryan it somehow turned into a lumberjack match. I mean really? I am so disappointed that I even paid to go and see Wrestlemania. I mean I was happy that Edge and Randy Orton won their matches. But I would have been better off attending the all the other festivities and then going home and watching Wrestlemania on PPV. I will never ever ever attend another Wrestlemania event. This was my first and last event and I am so sad to say that. How is it that we had two of the biggest WWE stars there and they were never even in the ring with each other? I mean WWE is losing it's way, it used to be for the fans no it seems to be all about the ratings. So they'll continue having the Wrestlmania's in great vacation locations to make people spend all this money and deliver unadequate shows. I hate to say this but TNA is starting to look better to me and I was never a TNA fan to begin with.
