So what would Tim Tebow do? Well, one thing he probably wouldn't do is attend the latest promotion put by the Fort Myers Miracle baseball team. The Florida-based minor league team was planning a “What Would Tim Tebow Do?” promotion, but the event was cancelled after the team received a case and desist order by the University of Florida.

The What Would Tim Tebow Do promotion was supposed to feature free promise rings", a ceremonial "jump-pass." In the second inning, a character named "T.T." was supposed to walk on water.

The promotion was meant a tribute to Tim Tebow, who is immensely popular in Florida and is often referred to by fans as "the chosen one." The University of Florida didn't think it was too funny.

“Under NCAA rules it is not permissible to use the name or picture of a student-athlete in the promotion of a commercial product or service,” the e-mail from Jamie McCloskey, UF senior associate athletic director said. “This would include the promotion and marketing of What Would Tim Tebow Do? Night.”
