Youth Hockey Coach Martin Tremblay Trips Player-Caught on Video
Coach Martin Tremblay Investigated After Tripping Opposing Player
After the UBC Hornets edged out the Richmond Steel in a 5-4 championship game, UBC coach Martin Tremblay was caught on video as he appeared to trip a 13-year-old Richmond player during the post-game handshake. You can see the Martin Tremblay video below.
The player who was tripped ended up injuring his wrist. Tremblay says it was an accient, but the video, as well as additional footage of the Hornets' behavior afterwards, suggests otherwise.
After the players fall, the video shows a Hornets player throwing a water bottle at the glass. It also shows Tremblay pointing his middle fingers at the glass.
Some of the players then applaud and some taunt spectators before they are awarded gold medals.
The tripping incident suggested by the video below took place after the gold-medal game in the UBC Spring Hockey League. Imagine how Martin Tremblay would have behaved had his team lost.

It is ludicrous to think that Martin Tremblay would admit to such an act; the fact that he is claiming that he slipped, should be countered with his immediate pointing of his hand towards the fallen player. This behavior is not consistent with mere slipping. My hope is that the hockey league bans Mr. Tremblay for life, and that the fallen player's family will sue Mr. Tremblay in court. Getting witnesses is the easy part; listening to the excuses and blaming will be the frustrating part; nevertheless, Mr. Tremblay should be sued for assault and more.

If there was ever a time for "eye for an eye," then this is it. Or, in this case, wrist for a wrist.Snap it, then ban him for life. His cries of agony would be sweet nectar for those who attend.
