Basketball legend Michael Jordan and model girlfriend Yvette Prieto have purchased a home together in the Miami area. The 5,500 square-foot home in Kendall reportedly cost the couple $281,000 for it.

Surprisingly, Jordan and the Cuban-born Prieto took out a 30-year, $196,000-mortgage. It's hard to picture Jordan, one of the richest athletes in history, taking out a mortage, but it's believed that he took it out for Prieto's sake. Prieto, whose name also appears on the mortgage, filed for bankruptcy in 2002.

Prieto and Jordan have been dating for almost a year. Prior to her relationship with Jordan, Prieto was romantically involved with pop singer Julio Iglesias Jr. As for Jordan, Prieto is his first serious girlfriend since his much-publicized and costly divorce from first wife Juanita Jordan.

Although she claims to be a model, there are relatively few Yvette Prieto photos online.
