The accreditation team in Vancouver International Airport (YVR) broke the record of total numbers of validations in Winter Olympics on February 8th.  More than 2,000 Olympic family members got their accreditations validated during the day. The previous record was 1,359 validations in Salt Lake City. The Canadians beat Americans again.

“I am so proud of our team! This is the best volunteer team ever! We did it!” says Elaine Sun, the team leader after breaking the record. YVR accreditation team has 50 volunteer members working from 6am to 10pm every day. Along with other volunteers, the accreditation team is working at both domestic and international terminals, showing their passion and smile to every Olympic family member.
