Spotted Dick

This was in the British and Irish food section. I thought it was weird that this large store would even have such a section. Do the British really eat this stuff, or is this what Americans think the British eat? It is crap food. I read the label. It is full of sugar, but I still couldnt figure out what it was. Maybe it really is just what the label says it is.
