Take that Spring Fever! Ouch!
CONCORD, N.H. - A spring storm brought more than a foot of snow to parts of the upper Northeast, closing schools, tangling traffic and knocking out power to more than 180,000 homes and businesses on Thursday.At least one death was blamed on the wintry weather, which began late Wednesday and was expected to continue through the weekend.

I don't se now big problem with the snow we just received it is melting fast.It's more of an inconvience then anything.

You are right...NOW, it is melting fast, trouble was that when it started yesterday afternoon it had been raining. It then turned to slush and then overnight we got over 4 inches dumped on top of all that wet slush. Some parts of New Hampshire, just a little further north, got up to 11 inches. Shoveling was very hard work since the snow had saturated at the bottom and compacted throughout. The roads were very slippery last night and early this morning. Many trees could not handle the weight of the snow and many branches were broken. I understand there were power outages and limbs blocking roads.
