'Spy helicopter' used at festival

Police have deployed a remote controlled drone to hover over the crowd at a UK music festival and are using it to monitor the crowd. I would like to know whether people saw this thing and what their reaction was in the moment. On some level it seems absolutely ridiculous, but of course it is also really skeevy and authoritarian as well.

Although I did like this quote, from Inspector Pete Owen, in which a certain kind of child-like borg-y technofetishism can be detected: "We are delighted to be trialling the drone."
