But now there's a new player in the cross-promotion game: Starbucks.

If you're a patron, perhaps you've noticed a slew of relatively obscure words on the sleeves of Blackberry Green Tea Frappucinos? If you haven't, here are examples drawn from Starbucks' lot of 25: pulchritude, prestidigitation, shalloon, meticulosity, prospicience, elucubrate and eudaemonic.

Even if you're familiar with the words (Merriam-Webster says "elucubrate" means "to work out or express by studious effort." You can elucubrate the rest of the defs yourself), you can't fail to notice them.

The cup-words are part of Starbucks' cross-promotional campaign for an independent film called Akeelah and the Bee, produced by Lionsgate, opening this month.
