State recommends demolishing dam on Batten Kill River

(WCAX 3) - Vermont officials are calling for the demolition of the Dufresne dam on the Batten Kill river. The state-owned dam is considered a high hazard. Its removal could significantly improve fishing on what may be among the best fly fishing water in the world.
