TruemorsI was walking behind the Ferry Building this afternoon, just checking out the Bay view, when I heard a robotic voice say "no, thank you." I turned to look for the source of the voice, and about 10 feet away was Stephen Hawking! He was eating lunch with some people at the delectable Hog Island Oyster Company.The guy in the white shirt is one of Dr. Hawking's assistants. He helped the physicist eat.Right after I took this picture, Dr. Hawking looked at me and then rolled his eyes (I think).Apparently he was "stranded" in San Francisco after a medical emergency.
