Victoria's Steve Nash showed Monday why he is worthy of consecutive most valuable player awards.

Nash poured in 31 points and doled out 12 assists in lifting the Phoenix Suns over the Los Angeles Clippers 130-123 in Game 1 of their NBA Western Conference semifinal.
