Back in February of 2006, a lifetime ago in web time, I sang the praise of the Reynolds Plastic Wrap with EZ Slide Cutter. It did not generate much interest back then. In the past few months though I noticed people started commenting on the story and contacting me asking where they could buy it or why they could not find it.
I decided to get the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth from the company.

You can get the EZ slide boxes at Costco or Sams club. The plastic wrap comes two in a pack and you can refill them with your own foil or other products.

I actually went to the trouble of constructing an adjustable holder that will hold any size, any brand plastic wrap and installed the EZ slide cutter. I'm quite sure the only reason they stopped selling their plastic wrap with the EZ slide cutter is because it made too much sence. It cut down on waste and eliminated all the screw-ups where you end up throwing a big gob in the trash because it wrinkled up on you. so with the EZslide cutter you use less and purchase less, OMFG! get that shit off the market right now, it's costing us money!

when reynolds discontinued their EZ Slide plastic wrap..I was very disappointed. I loved it..I hit every super market and bought up every box I could find before it disappeared off the shelves..When I was down to about 2 boxes left in my cache I wondered what I would use in its stead. I hit upon replacing the spent roll of wrap with a roll from a regular box of wrap...It has to be a roll that is small enough to fit in the EZ Slide box and allow the slide to work properly..Bingo...it works great..I still don't understand why Reynolds dumped it..It was an ingenious idea.

I had to figure somebody managed to cut themselves so the trial lawyers got a client a bunch of $$$ & Reynolds took it off the market... maybe not the case. Anyway, I still had one so saved the box & put new wrap in it...that cutter is SOOO easy to use, but unfortunately it will wear out... wish I could just buy it each time with the E-Z cutter.
