TruemorsCanPalNet Calgary put on a rally to protest Israeli aggression in the middle east. The action was held outside the U.S. Consulate in downtown Calgary. The protest was against not only the U.S.'s backing of Israel's assault on Gaza and Lebanon, but also against, Canadian Prime Minister, Stephen Harper's support for the assault.The other sign reads:“Free Palestine”“Only free men can negotiate.”“Palestine. Dying to live.”There's another protest rally set for this Friday, July 21, 2006, starting at 3:00 pm, at Calgary's City Hall (800 MacLeod Trail SE). That one is being put together by CANDIL.
