Stop the War Coalition demonstration, Manchester, England

Last Sunday, 24 June, Manchester's streets echoed the protests of thousands of people, from all parts of the Country, in a well organised protest march. They were here to coincide with a Special Labour Party Conference and their demands were for: an end to the war, 'Troops out' of Iraq, and no attack on Iran.

It was good to see so many groups with their colourful banners and to hear the civilised voicing of their objections to the killings of human beings in the name of peace.

Good work, Joseph. Thanks for using multimedia for this, as well; very timely, as today is Tony Blair's last day in office; we'll see what path Labor takes for the time being.
