Mother of 12-Year-Old War Protester Arrested at Sen_ Tom Harkin's Office

In Des Moines, Iowa a 12 year old girl who went with her mother Renee Espeland to protest the war in Iraq and Afghanistan was arrested by authorities for apparently trespassing on Senator's Harkins' Office at the Federal Building  in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.  The following day Renee Espeland was ticketed by police for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  Renee Espeland feels that what her young daughter was trying to bring awareness of to Senator Harkin was both important and of great integrity.  This arrest and consequential ticketing may not be in the best interest for Sen. Harkin this may create further distrust for the government by anti-war groups and many other groups in general.

Salute to such a young girl and her mother. These are the people Americans must be proud of in particular, and humanity in general. They are beacons of hope for a better world, dream of the majority of people on the globe, unfortunately who have been rendered voiceless by war-mongers.war-mongers control all resources, including media.War protestors possess nothing except a clean conscience.
