3 Concord Teens Arrested for Choking Chickens

The investigation is continuing, however, at this time the crime appears to be a random, spontaneous act. All three juveniles were booked at CPD for animal cruelty and burglary, and released into the custody of their parents. Because of their ages, their names are being withheld. They are described as:

• 14 year-old male juvenile, Concord resident
• 15 year-old male juvenile, Concord resident
• 15 year-old male juvenile, Concord resident

“I don’t believe this is related to anything that’s happened recently,” he said. “We don’t have a string of chicken killings we’re investigating.”
