United Nations: Will Someone Sign for All This Cocaine?

Someone shipped 35.5 pounds of cocaine to the United Nations headquarters in Manhattan. Whoever sent the cocaine used DHL, which is the UN's shipper of choice.

The cocaine was packaged in hollowed-out notebooks, which were then placed in aped in a fake diplomatic sack. The blow was sent through Mexico. The Package had no addressee: who was supposed to sign for all that cocaine? (There's a Charlie Sheen joke in there, but we're taking the high road. As it were.)

Once the package arrived, the UN staffers who received it recognized that it was fake right away. A UN spokesperson said that whomever shipped the coke was probably just trying to get it out of Mexico, hoping that nobody would inspect it at the border. However, how would the shipper then retrieve it?

If the plan was to use the diplomatic sack as camouflage, how then did it actually end up in the DHL shipping system?

DHL will not comment on the case, as it involves drug seizure. The DHL slogan is "Excellence. Simply Delivered." We humbly suggest they change it to "The World is Yours".
