LONDON (Reuters) - Eight million Americans admit they send themselves Valentine's Day gifts -- they may feel lonely and unloved but at least they will get something nice.

What??!! Gee whiz, at Christmas and other special times, my dog
(formerly dogs) and cats very carefully select special gifts for me.
They're saavy enough to have them mailed in from internet catalog
sites, too. ;}
And just because people choose to send gifts
to themselves doesn't mean they feel lonely and unloved. Hey, I gift
myself frequently. :)
Meanwhile, I just received nice
Valentine's Day roses from a human friend. But given that we're in
mourning for my German Shepherd WinWin, the furry kids didn't do a lot
of V Day shopping--yet. I suspect they'll get around to it. Oh, wait! A package with jewelry just arrived!
Ya gotta have fun and play with your daily life!
And where did CartoonCat find those shoes? Freddie II, the cat, loves the way tasseled shoes look on me, plus he loves untying shoes with tassels and strings. He's very interested in those shoes.
