9/9/09 (Or 09/09/09).Tuesday, September 9, 2009 has a special significance for number nerds. Tomorrow's date will read 09-09-09 and several companies are doing things to celebrate the once-in-a-century date. 

Tomorrow marks major releases by the Beatles, perhaps as a tribute to their song "Revolution #9." Rock Band: The Beatles, the much-anticipated chapter in the popular video game series, will be released on 9/9/09. The band will also be re-releasing new remastered version of all their studio albums. Engineers have been painstakingly restoring the original Beatles tracks, cleaning them up using a mix of old and new techniques. 

09-09-09 will also mark the debut of the Tim Burton's latest film, title simply and fittingly, '9'. The animated film is directed by Shane Acker, and features the voices of Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Martin Landau, Christopher Plummer and John C. Reilly. 
 Several businesses are getting on the 999 bandwagon. Domino's Pizza will be giving away 99 $25 gift cards to people celebrating 9th or 99th birthday on 9/9/9.  

Also, Leica will release its M9 camera, injecting a bit of class into the non-SLR digital camera market.

Perhaps the most gung-ho company out there is 99¢ Only Stores. The chain of discounts stores will be treating 9 couples to a beautiful wedding for only 99¢ per couple! Also, the store will give away $999 to a 9lb 9oz baby born on 9/9/09.

One thing not to do on 9-09-09 is look for LOLcats. Tomorrow has been declared A Day Without Cats.
