The headline is true, in a truly clever marketing ploy a German company at a trade show has attached tiny banner advertisements to flies.

It prevents the tiny flying billboards from flying high but enables people to notice the sponsor carrying insects.

Apparently, the firm used some sort of of natural wax to affix the advertisements to the flies which disintegrates after some time allowing the fly to fly free.

The question is what does PETA have to say about this I suspect since the flies did not provide informed consent then it could be an issue
