California Highway Patrol officers have arrested Alisha Mankin after she led them on a two-hour car chase in her UHaul truck.

The UHaul high speed chase lasted more than two hours, weaving through downtown Los Angeles and Malibu. Mankin did whatever she could to evade capture. She drove on sidewalks, grassy medians, even into oncoming traffic.  

The California UHaul chase began when Mankin and a male passenger were pulled over after a report of suspicious activity. The male passenger was taken into custody, but Mankin tried to escape in the UHaul.

Alisha Nicole Mankin was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, recklessly evading peace officers, driving while under the influence of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor hit and run. She also charges stemming from two outstanding warrants.
