Bet you didn't know how easily you can be injured at an amusement park.  I am always  getting calls from injured victims hurt at Disneyland who are from out of state.  It is tough to sue them, as they have so much money and that fight tooth and nail to avoid paying injured victims.  Let the buyer beware!

If you have been on a California vacation, the chances are you have been to a California amusement, or recreational park, such as Raging Waters. Amusement parks are full of fun rides and exciting games for each one of us to enjoy. It is a place where we can spend time with our loved ones and have a great time together. Normally when we think of an amusement park, we think of roller coasters, cotton candy, a merry-go-round, and the sounds of our children squealing in delight. There are other sounds however that can be heard at times, because for some, an amusement park is not always lots of fun and games. There are also the sounds you will hear from devastated families who have a loved one who has been involved in a tragic amusement park accident that has caused a traumatic brain injury or TBI. It would be nice to think of an amusement park as only a place to have fun and share good times with friends and family, but that is not the case for many individuals. Sadly there are approximately two million people who will become victim to an accident that results in a traumatic brain injury every single year.

If the fun you were having with your family members was tragically put to a stop because of an amusement park accident in Anaheim or Buena Park, that caused a brain injury it is imperative that you contact the specialized services of a knowledgeable amusement park accident attorney. Experienced lawyers who have expertise in handling all types of amusement park accidents will know every step that needs to be taken to ensure that you receive the highest amounts possible by law for your personal injury claim.

A traumatic brain injury is a type of injury that can change the life of not only the victim, but it can change the life of every family member as well. Many times there will be months, and in some cases lifelong physical therapy that will be needed along with other specialized medical services and possibly even special medical equipment that will be needed. If you need assistance in locating a particular specialist these trusted attorneys will be able to assist you in this area as well. They realize how delicate a situation this can be and they will offer you the utmost compassion and care in handling every aspect of your lawsuit.

An amusement park is not always lots of fun and games. When your fun at an amusement park has ended because of an unexpected accident that has caused your loved one to suffer a brain injury, you need the best possible representation such as an amusement park accident lawyer, or Los Angeles injury lawyers handling this matter for you and your family.

No joke.  Have you seen some of the employees running the rides?

I hear ya on that one. I have been to Magic Mountain and Knotts berry farm and they have some (potentially) dangerous rides as well, especially if you have a body type that is different than average. I have written about this as well in my entertainment news blog

Great story

Good stuff. It doesn't surprise me though. They wouldn't tell you if any particular amusement is a 'blackspot'. There are bound to be 'cover ups'.

I used to go out with an engineer and he refused to go on these, says it all really! I have never had any trust in mechanical things.

Saying that, I had an panic attack on the London Eye and they didn't make it 'speed up for me' and I had to wait ages for it to get to the bottom.  The staff were very good but in an emergency, you can be stuck up there for a while.

I found this info from Wikipedia:-

"Examples of the types of incidents that have been reported to Florida's Bureau of Fair Rides Inspection are listed here:

a 42-year-old man broke his left ankle while exiting the Kilimanjaro Safari ride vehicle.

a 14-year-old girl broke her arm on the Camp Jurassic climbing nets."

Wikipedia list several of them in fact.

Interestingly, it also states that 'employees injured at the parks are not reported'.

On another blog they said that many come out in 'body bags'.
