Angel and Devil Rob German Store

An angel and a devil robbed a store earlier today in Cologne, Germany... two assailants, one dressed as an angel, the other as a devil, took advantage of the first day of Karneval to carry out the robbery, as they'd be able to flee with relative anonymity.

Officers are urgently seeking witnesses who saw a devil and an angel together in the area. The first suspect is described as tall and thin, with a red-painted face, devil hat with horns, and a red devil costume with jeans. His celestial counterpart was also tall and thin, had his face painted white, and wore a white angel costume.

I had always pictured Satan to wear a suit.
This is a Carnival celebration that is not on many people's radar screen, even though, with more than 1 million people annually in attendance, it amounts to one of Europe's biggest street festivals, and certainly Germany's largest after Oktoberfest in Munich.

This type of behavior often has a negative backlash on innocent festival participants. Hopefully the authorities will find the folks responsible quickly before it becomes a situation that creates a fearful atmosphere.
