Banana taller than man

Have you ever seen such a long bunch of banana that can anytime be taller than an average man? It can grow as long as 1.8m (~ 6 feet)

It is called "Pisang Seribu" in Malay, it literary means "Thousand Banana". As I've searched the web resources, understand that it is also called the "Thousand Fingers". I believe it is due to such a large number of bananas that it produces in a single bunch that it is given the name.

Another interesting fact about this banana is that it will continue to grow until it touches the ground. Thus it is also called "Tongkat Bumi", where "Tongkat" means "walking stick" and "Bumi" means "earth or ground", which in full means "walking stick that touches the ground".

The fruit of this banana is smaller than the normal bananas, nevertheless, it still tastes as sweet.
