Bat'leth

From the Daily Express, Thursday 25/05/06. Reading the caption of this picture, which describes the weapon as a "martial arts blade", I reckon the paper doesn't watch much Star Trek. Now, neither do I, but even I know this is a Klingon sword. A "bat'leth", I am reliably informed.

Which means it's a replica, and thus about as likely to cut skin as a blunted radish.

The stern look on the policeman's face is fun. Is he cross because such 'weapons' are bad? Or is he just posing, because he thinks he looks cool with it? Or did the paper just say "angry look, officer"?

Edit: The Express don't watch Star Trek, but the Sun evidently do. They got the name right.
