San Francisco homeless residents cannot understand why Mayor Gavin Newsom is stalling ?   This legislation and its funding is the will of the people that are most affected by and that live in and that work in and around this matter.

If he was at the table for the past nine months and 2 years, like everyone else, we could have passed this last week and ended suffering,  immediately start reducing 20 to 40% of the waste, cost of emergency services, corruption, conflict, hygiene related diseases, 'shelter shuffling' which will save us money, and save lives, moving forward.  It's a win, win, win for everyone... except the people that were abusing the clients and making money on the black market and abuse that will always exist unless you have legal standards, just like any other place where you have a large congregate of people to serve.

It's a no-brainer, future expense reducer, cost effective, community and provider supported, relatively modest piece of legislation.  Had he attended the 44 meetings in 9 months, he would never even consider stalling.

STALLING = HARM REAL HUMANS FOR NO VALID REASON

In fact, many of us think that when a Mayor does not sit down weekly, with Our Board of Supervisors and Our Community Groups, he is Neglecting his Constitutional and Civic Duties. Period.   Therefore, why should we, as a united community,  permit him or anyone in the same 'role' be given any merit or trust on matters, that they were neglectful of.

That seems to be Our Biggest Collective Problem, as a Community and City Government.   We keep letting neglectful people, have a say in our affairs and we keep trusting them, when they repeatedly fail us, in the performance of their Duties, To Us.

We do not work for them.  If they want us to respect their will or opinion on any matter before us,  they must not be neglectful.

Otherwise, our will and our power must supercede theirs on everything they have been neglectful or tardy on.  Period.
