Billy Mays may no longer be with us, but his image lives on thanks in part to Billy Mays stickers that seem to popping up all over the place.

Fans of the late TV pitchman have put up Billy Mays stickers in public places: on street signs, telephone poles, and newspaper boxes. The sticker phenomenon seems to have been started by Billy Mays son, who mentioned them on his Twitter page.

The first run of Billy Mays stickers is all gone, but Billy Mays son promises that more are on the way.

How much would expect to pay for a Billy Mays Sticker? $5.00? $10.00? How about absolutely free, if you act now and take advantage of this limited time offer.

So how do you get a free Billy Mays Sticker? Just contact Billy Mays III. The info is on his Twitter page:

The Billy Mays Sticker campaign is strangely reminiscent of the Andre the Giant Obey phenomenon. In the 1990s, artist Shepherd Fairey and skateboarders across the country started plastering stickers of wrestler Andre the Giant all over the place. Fairey referred to the Andre the Giant Obey stickers as street art and an "experiment in phenomenology."

No word yet as to whether the Billy Mays sticker campaign has such high-minded goals.
