Next time someone calls you a bird brain, don't take it too hard. Birds especially crows can be quite creative and clever as these two videos demonstrate. These crows were not trained to perform these actions, they have learned to do it on their own. In a world where we are told humans are a detriment to animal species the second video demonstrates how we can be useful to them as well.

At a University in London England the biology students who capture and later release crows for studies, have to wear wigs and masks to avoid being taunted by the birds after they are released. Even after summer breaks and later visits to the university the students who didn't wear a disguise get harassed by the previously captured crows. Facial recognition from birds? I know people who have difficulty with that.
