Breaking News: Alberta`s Suntemple Predates Pyramids, StoneHenge

Very exciting news in Canada`s history an academic scholar and retired University of Alberta professor Gordon Freemanout has found that Canada`s version of the StoneHenge. Properly named the Suntemple has a remarkable 5000 year old history. This find predates the Egyptian Pyramids.and England`s StoneHenge The location of this archeological find is in an area called Bow River, about 70 kilometres east of Calgary, many mainstream archeologists feel that this is only a typical medicine wheel left by the indiginous people of this region. Freemanout disagrees however claiming that this monument served as a precise calender.

According to the article...
The rising and setting sun on both the longest and shortest days of the year lines up precisely with V-shaped sights in the temple's rocks. The spring and autumn equinoxes, when day and night are equal, are similarly marked. They are not the equinoxes of the Gregorian calendar currently used, however, but the true astronomical equinoxes.
Freeman is convinced the temple contains a lunar calendar as well, because the 28 rays radiating from the central cairn correspond to the length of the lunar cycle.
