Like popping bubbles in bubble wrap? Don't we all? A Brooklyn man has designed a calendar that will drive fanatics bubble-popping mad.
Stephen Turbek, 36, who works nine-to-five in the financial industry, spends his free time designing and producing interactive bubble wrap calendars - and his income is, well, popping.
Turbek, of Fort Greene, fashioned the pop-a-day calendar using a long sheet of paper with the month and dates printed in columns, then covering the whole thing with a sheet of bubble wrap.
He's selling them online for $30 to $50 a pop, and has already sold thousands, he said.
"Like many people, I really enjoy popping bubbles. I thought it would be fun to put it to some purpose," Turbek said.
There's even a market for the bubble calendar overseas. Turbek says he has shipped them to Australia, Latvia, Korea and Japan. Turbek has a German and Japanese language version of the calendar, and wants to produce even more language options next year.

I wish I had known about this before Christmas because I have quite a few of those hard to buy for folks on my list. Thanks for bringing it to my attention though. I am sure I will find a time and place.
