One North Georgia Couple Found a Buffalo Swimming in Their Pool Over the Weekend
When Chris Nonnemaker and his wife noticed two holes in their pool cover on Saturday morning they decided to go out and investigate what happened.
Little did they know when they pulled back the cover that they would find a full-grown buffalo hanging out in their pool.
They knew the buffalo had escaped from a neighbor's home and so Chris decided to tape the animal's rescue and the footage has now appeared on news outlets across the country.
Deputies said the buffalo belonged to a neighbor and escaped with two others weeks ago. They said those two were caught shortly after they got away.
The owners decided to put the buffalo down after it was rescued.
