The new Burger King ad for the "BK Super Seven Incher" has hit the streets of Singapore, and is raising eyebrows across the Internet. Not surprising, as the ad blatantly suggests oral sex. Every headline I've seen so far has gone nuts with the imagery, cashing in on the very luridness they claim to censure.
Dan Mitchell had way too much fun writing about this:
They got two "blows" in there. Nice. The sandwich (by itself an obscenity), slathered in unnaturally ultra-white mayonnaise, is floating in the air directly across from the disturbingly pale profile of a young, gape-mouthed woman who looks frightened to death of the manly meat.

I don't want to sound too condemning, but frankly this whole style of advertising is part of the culture of narcissism and is specifically about the loss of shame.
Is there someone somewhere whose sex life is bad because of Puritan repression for which this advertising is the antidote?
This is just shameless pandering to the bottom line at the expense of the values that make us a community.

I think the head line of the story goes farther. The author of the Reuters Article may have a vivid imagination.
It does give BK some free adds though.
