Watch Video Here It started out as a party but quickly turned into a riot on the Michigan State University Campus. Police say they were forced to use tear gas and flash-bang grenades to handle the crowd.

More than 4,000 people poured into the streets in East Lansing Saturday night. Officers say people were fighting, tearing down signs, and throwing bottles. Officers used tear gas and flash-bang grenades to disperse the crowd.

52 people were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct or inciting a riot. Police say several injuries were reported but there's no word on how serious they were.

Authorities say the crowd was trying to bring back "Cedar Fest." The event was canceled several years ago when the crowds got out of hand.

Our next piece of video takes us to a college campus  in Topeka, Kansas where a police helicopter crashed. It happened on the Washburn University campus Saturday night.

There were two police officers on board when the chopper crashed but both of them were able to walk away with minor scratches. Police are still trying to figure out what caused the crash.
