In classic Canadian fashion, a masked robber abandoned his attempt to rob a convenience store after the clerk asked him politely to leave.
According to RCMP, a masked man entered a convenience store in Sackville, Nova Scotia, and demanded cash and cigarettes.
In response, the clerk politely declined.
He demanded money and cigarettes, but the male clerk refused and asked the culprit to "please leave the store," RCMP said.
The masked man stopped, looked at the store clerk and said: "You're the first person to ask me to leave in such a nice way (and) because of that I will leave."

Nice! Uh, that is, literally ;)
Currently traveling. People abroad have that impression that Canadians are peaceful and easy-going people, so this just goes to show that it may very well be true.
