Cane toad survives after being eaten by greedy dog

A cane toad is suprisingly alive after being eaten by a dog and vomited up 40 minutes later.  The Northern Territory News reports how dog owner Jackson Crews rushed his dog Bella to an animal clinic when she mistook the poisonous toad for a pie and swallowed it whole. 

After spending 40 minutes in Bella's stomach, the cane toad was regurgitated and managed to hop away before being collected by clinic staff.  Likewise Bella, who is lucky not to have been fatally poisoned, appears to be in good health.
