New Wayne set my pen a blaze, heart fills with glee. Knowledge, the voice lives on.

Music does not only influence corner kids with baggy jeans, dope dealer and rich white suburban boys with too much time on their hands. Music and more specifically hip-hop holds an unparalleled amount of influence over product marketing, politics and even Wall St.

The arts, sports, fashion, the list is never ending and I myself must throw my hat into the ring of the influenced.

Expecting a track by track breakdown of Wayne’s latest effort complete with bogus catch phrases like stellar vocals and rhythmic beats look elsewhere, perhaps, www.rollingstone.com.

So, what to expect from Lil Wayne’s sixth studio album The Carter. Volume III.

If you don’t own or remember the first tow volumes of the Carter trilogy suggestion, on Tuesday morning when the hotly anticipated third offering from hip-hop’s hottest wordsmith drops, log onto itunes or better yet get your ass off the couch and head to some place that actually pays today’s youth to keep them from car theft, break n entry and general property destruction and purchase all three versions of the Lil Wayne’s trilogy, the Carter.

With these three albums under your arms and perhaps a fitted cap you should be well equipped to take on the summer, full bore with every assurance that Wayne will carry you right through to the dying days of autumn and well into the burdens of winter.

Wayne is 100%, head of the hip-hop round table (next time you mention Pac, Biggie or Jay Z/Don’t forget Weezy baby –Track #2 "Mr. Carter") and although making drastic judgements about an album that I have only just discovered never seems to be a good idea, I will say that to be a success Wayne need not improve on previous offerings, only carry on in the same vein if this album is to stand up against the first two editions in the series. And if early returns are any indication . . .

If you came looking for review, breakdown, grade or report card I apologize for misleading you but to produce an accurate reflection of an album that has only entered my metal stratosphere in the last twenty-four hours would be not only unfair but also unprofessional....

You wanna know what I think about Wayne’s latest offering...check back with me after labour day, lets just see how it vibes.
