Just when you thought there was nothing funny about the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill, Governor Charlie Crist's visit to Miami Beach provides a much-needed, if unintentional, laugh.

The LA Times ran a blog post about Obama's speech regarding the oil spill cleanup effort, and illustrated it with a Getty image that's either wildly inappropriate, or spot-on perfect. I can't even tell anymore.

Can You Write "Ass" in the News?

How does one even describe this photo? Gov. Crist is definitely walking along Miami Beach. He is not seeing any oil. He's definitely seeing something else, though, and it has to do with the summer bodies for which Miami is world-famous. The expression on his face really sells it.

This is reminiscent of the 2009 G8 Summit, in which US President Barack Obama and French Prime Minister Nicolas Sarkozy appeared to be checking out intern Mayara Tavares.
