Lighter moments of Clinton visit

A Kenyan man has offered to pay a dowry of 40 goats and 20 cows for Chelsea Clinton's hand in marriage. The man first made the offer in 2000 to then-president Bill Clinton. During US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's latest trip to Kenya, the man renewed the offer.

When asked by CNN's Fareed Zakaria about the Chelsea Clinton, the Secretary of State was circumspect, likely as an effort to not offend local customs.

After a pause, Clinton said, "My daughter is her own person, very independent, so I will convey this very kind offer."

Chelsea Clinton has dated boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky for several years. Rumors have swirled that the two are getting married, although no wedding plans have been confirmed.

if she gets married to this person she is not as smart as I give her credit for. it will never work she needs to dump him.

This is funny, and this man is already married, and wants another wife. He lost his mind. I think the only reason why he wants to marry her is for the money. It for sure not love. He does not even know her.

I know she would never accept this offer, Chelsea will marry someone most likely in the politics, or something he will have plenty of money.

she would never marry a middle class person. He has to be very rich.

marriage is for love, I am sure she'll marry for love, and I hope someone very intelligent, wealthy and someone to make her laugh.
