Childcare worker charged with rubbing feces in a four-year-old autistic boy's face

A FORMER Ipswich childcare worker has been charged by police for allegedly rubbing a dirty nappy in the face of a four-year-old autistic boy who cannot talk.

The alleged incident occurred at a childcare centre at Camira, in Ipswich, almost two years ago but has only come to light after the mother of the child was told by a former employee of the childcare centre three weeks ago.

Rochelle Hodge has accused the childcare centre of trying to cover up the alleged incident because her son, Connor, then aged four, could not tell his parents.
