Metro-Dade 1990 Flxible Metro B #9069

This story is a few days old, but I just heard about it now. According to Miami-Dade police, an 18-year-old guy stole a few county buses. He didn't keep them, however: he drove them on their normal routes, picking up and dropping off passengers. Furthermore, he did not steal the fares.

James L. Harris is charged with three counts each of third-degree grand theft and burglary of an occupied conveyance, WPLG-TV reported. The most recent theft occurred Tuesday, when he was arrested and charged.
The crime has the cops puzzled at the moment, since there isn't much of an apparent motive beyond really wanting to drive a bus.
(I heard about this from boingboing)
