Monkey Lady: Connie Tibbs Brings Her Pet Macaques Everywhere

Being a cat lady is played out. Being a monkey lady is the new hotness. Connie Tibbs, a 37-yar-old mother of three in Pekin, Illinois, keeps five Java macaques as pets, and they go everywhere that she goes.

The Daily Mail says that Connie Tibbs is "bananas" (so clever), but she's doing it right: if you left five Java macaques alone in your house, you'd come home to a disaster area. Besides, Tibbs can train the macaques to help her out in her daily tasks. Check out the link above for photos of the human/macaque family

However, it's not all smooth sailing. Whenever Connie's husband tries to get too close, the macauqes (Alley, Jackson, Audrey, Dexter and Jaeda) attack him. Connie's younger two children love the monkeys, but her eldest son is not a fan.

Do the monkeys sleep in Connie Tibbs' bed? Well, only one at a time, and only if the monkey is wearing pajamas.

(Note: I'm against the notion of forcing monkeys to wear diapers. Monkeys poop, and that should factor into one's decision to get five of them.)
