Two supermarket workers who fell in love at work, have now gotten married in the aisles of the Sainsbury where they worked.

I'm not sure this is for me, but seems like a unique way to tie the knot at least!

Crowds of shoppers gathered to watch checkout operator Jane Clark, 42, and Kenneth Sutherland, 32, tie the knot at Sainsbury's in Baldovie Road.

The bride walked down the seasonal goods aisle to Big Girl (You are Beautiful) by Mika before the ceremony.

The couple met three years ago when the new Mrs Sutherland spotted her husband-to-be stacking shelves.

'Something different'

Mr Sutherland proposed in 2006 and the couple have been planning the supermarket wedding ever since.

The bride even emailed Sainsbury's CEO Justin King to get permission.

She said: "I just wanted to do something different, all our friends are here, colleagues, we just wanted the family atmosphere."

Mr Sutherland added: "I thought it was brilliant, because I've been with the company for 12 years and I never thought of doing something like this.
