Crow Meat Comes Back -- Boosts Sexual Potency?
Eating crow is an expression used by English speakers as an idiom for being humiliated. Despite the nursery rhyme about four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie, neither crows or blackbirds rate high on the English menu. Not so in Lithuania. Traditionally crows were eaten during times when food was scarce but the tradition is making a comeback. It might be that the lure of increased sexual potency is fueling the demand for crow meat.
Despite their intelligence and function as scavengers, crows are rarely popular birds.
The large black birds with a noisy squawk have traditionally held the role of evil-doer or thief in fable and fairy-tales.
In Lithuania, crow has been part of a traditional diet throughout the centuriesmostly eaten during times of hardship.
While the consumption of crow meat may seem repulsive to some, as these birds are known for their liking of garbage and other dead animals there are sites available that offer hints on preparing crow meat for consumption along with recipies.

Sounds gross, but it didn't look so bad in the video. I donno, I'd have to be pretty hungry!

We have cattle and these blackbirds are constantly eating the corn out of the cow poop. Seriously they do. Birds like to sit on the cattle's back in the cold winter to keep their feet warm.
